Open the 1win lobby and you meet two very different kinds of games. Slots are about spinning reels and bonus rounds. Crash games, led by Aviator, are about one decision: when to cash out. Knowing the difference helps you pick the one that fits your mood and budget.
Head-to-head comparison
| Crash game (Aviator) | Slot | |
|---|---|---|
| What you do | Bet, watch the multiplier, cash out | Bet and spin |
| Control | You choose the cash-out moment | None after the spin |
| Round length | Very short | Short, longer in bonus rounds |
| RTP (examples) | Aviator 97% | Typically 94% - 97%, e.g. Pinata Wins 96.75% |
| Volatility | You set it with your target multiplier | Fixed by the game: low, medium, high |
| Themes and features | Minimal | Free spins, multipliers, bonus buys |
| Bonus type | Free bets | Free spins |
The hidden cost: speed
A 97% RTP looks cheaper than a 96% slot, but the house edge applies to total wagered. Short crash rounds mean you can stake much more per hour. Example: 600 rounds an hour at USD 1 is USD 600 wagered, which at a 3% edge is an expected USD 18 cost. A slot at 96% with 300 spins an hour at USD 1 is USD 300 wagered and an expected USD 12. These are illustrative numbers, not game stats, but the point is real: pace matters as much as RTP. See our RTP guide.
Who should pick what
| If you... | Try |
|---|---|
| Like making a decision each round | Aviator |
| Want themes, stories and bonus rounds | Slots such as Le Vampire |
| Prefer a relaxed pace | Medium-volatility slots; see the beginner list |
| Get tempted to chase losses | A slot with a fixed stake and a timer |
Bonuses work differently
Free spins are for slots; free bets are for crash games. Both pay into the bonus balance and must be wagered. Read how wagering works and the free spins page.
